While other boat manufacturers try to impress buyers with so-called quality
features they put on a boat, much of Hewes innovations and quality is
found in the boat. Some of the most important Hewes features are hard to
notice without a close look and in some cases are hidden in the construction
process. Here are just a few examples of the hidden quality found in Hewes
boats:
 All Hewes Redfisher livewells are fed raw water through our exclusive "Sea Chest" system. Designed to be completely flush with the hull bottom, the Sea Chest provides ample raw water without drag or debris contamination, typical of most livewell pick-ups. We also include a canister filter and shut off valve to allow you to clear any clogs in the line, while in the water - another Hewes exclusive.

 The full-step transom and built-in jack plate of the new 21 Redfisher is reinforced with 4 knees that tie into the stringers, a 3" x 4' cross member, and our exclusive above-and-below-deck through-bolted transom plate make it the strongest combination on the market. |
 Our boats are all handmade. Each piece of fiberglass, including the skin coat, is cut, placed and laminated by hand. We don't use cheaper chopper-gun construction, which can result in a lower-quality, heavier boat. The Hewes hull, transom and deck are built with 100% Klegecell® foam core/no-wood construction for unmatched strength and lightness. |
