Grady Marine is a third-generation, family-owned, full service marine provider proudly celebrating its 55th year of continuous operation.
Grady Marine was founded in 1968 in Rocky River, Ohio by John J. Grady, Jr. Drawn by the opportunity for year-round work and warmer weather, Mr. Grady relocated the company to South Florida. In 1972, along with his wife, two young children, and crew, he brought a tugboat and barge from Lake Erie through the Erie Canal, down the Hudson River, and into the Intracoastal Waterway to Summerfield’s Boat Works on the New River in Fort Lauderdale. Grady Marine has remained a trusted provider to the South Florida marine industry ever since.
